Huge fan of The Housemartins and The Beautiful South. Someone bought me the tickets for a Christmas present and I was apprehensive about going to the O2 Birmingham last night - needn't have been. Thoroughly enjoyed the old songs (esp some of the less commercial album tracks) - and the new songs were great. Vocals were excellent. Alison looked overwhelmed when the crowd sang along and Hammy (with and without hat) bantered with us too. Got the impression they were as chuffed with us as we were with them. Thanks for a great night - will definitely be following you.
